A late equaliser from Dominic Telford earned Blackpool a Championship point in their 1-1 draw with Rotherham United at Bloomfield Road.
The visitors threatened in the early minutes of the game as they won a free kick just outside the box, and Lewis was called on to make a good save to tip Emmanuel Ledesma's effort away from goal.
Rotherham were well and truly on the front foot and came close to taking the lead when Lee Frecklington blasted a strike towards the top corner, only to be denied by another fine stop from Lewis.
The Millers were handed a golden opportunity to take the lead when Tom Lawrence was fouled in the area. Lawrence took the spot kick himself, but Lewis once again denied the visitors with a crucial save.
The visitors came within inches of taking the lead as Jordan Bowery fired a strike at goal, but his effort clattered off the post and was cleared to safety before any of his teammates could react.
In the second half, Blackpool came out the stronger side and saw a goal disallowed when Nathan Delfouneso tapped in from close range, but was ruled offside as he slotted the ball into the net.
Lee Clark's men came came close when Andrea Orlandi's effort beat Adam Collin, but struck the post.
Rotherham immediately raided up the opposite end of the pitch and took the lead as Ledesma turned two defenders inside out before firing a low effort with his right foot into the bottom corner.
However, Blackpool managed to rally late in the game and pumped a long ball forward into the box which fell kindly at the feet of Telford, who poked past Collin from a tight angle to earn his side a point.
