Blackpool have already begun their rebuild for League One football next season, with manager Lee Clark confirming that approaches have been made for "five or six" players.
The Seasiders were confirmed as relegated three weeks ago, but Clark admitted much before then that he was readying himself for life in the third tier next season.
He has now confirmed that several players have been approached over joining the Tangerines this summer.
"We have spoken to the agents of five or six players and offered deals," he told the Blackpool Gazette.
"It's hard to say how close they are because until they are done anything could happen. But we have five or six deals we are really pushing on with."
It is a completely different approach to last summer, when Blackpool scrambled together a team just before the start of the season and never really recovered.
