Veteran defender Nyron Nosworthy has signed a contract extension with Blackpool until the end of the season.
The 34-year-old joined the Championship strugglers on a short-term deal back in November.
Nosworthy has made a total of four appearances for Lee Clark's side during the current campaign.
"No matter where we are it's a challenge," he told the club's official website. "I was brought here to try and improve things and I want to show that I've still got the quality.
"It's just a matter of keeping that consistency so we can get a couple of wins. If a team picks up a win you've earned the right to keep your place, so if I get my performances right then I'm adding to the team."
Blackpool are at the bottom of the Championship table, nine points adrift of safety. They continue their fight for survival tomorrow with a trip to Watford.
