Championship outfit Blackpool have signed Republic of Ireland international Darren O'Dea on a short-term deal until January 4.
The 27-year-old defender has been a free agent for a number of months after being released by Ukrainian side Metalurh Donetsk in August.
"I had a tough year in Ukraine, so I'm delighted to be at a good football club with good people," O'Dea told BBC Sport.
"I was desperate to play football again and I'm looking to now help the team."
O'Dea started his career at Celtic and has also played for Reading, Ipswich Town and Leeds United.
