Crystal Palace are hoping to pip the Premier League's elite to the signing of Blackpool's goalscoring winger Thomas Ince, according to reports.
Ince, who netted 18 goals from the flanks for the Tangerines last season, has been linked with summer moves to both Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool, who failed in a January bid for the England Under-21 international.
Newly-promoted Palace's transfer strategy is apparently to take the best young talent from the Championship and Ian Holloway believes that Ince fits that description.
According to The Mirror, Holloway wants to bring Ince to Selhurst Park as a replacement for Manchester United-bound Wilfried Zaha, and is also keen on Ince's Blackpool teammate Matt Phillips.
Phillips, who scored four Championship goals in 28 starts as the Eagles reached the Premier League via the playoffs, was recruited to the Seasiders by Holloway during his time in charge at Bloomfield Road.
