Bologna director Walter Sabatini has ruled out the prospect of the club signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic over the January transfer window.
The 38-year-old left Los Angeles Galaxy on a free transfer last month following two seasons in the MLS, during which he scored 52 goals in 56 games.
With Italy looking like Ibrahimovic's most likely destination, the Swede was linked with a move to Bologna due to his good relationship with manager Sinisa Mihajlovic.
Speaking on the subject of the striker, Sabatini told the Daily Mail: "Ibrahimovic will not be coming to Bologna. He has made other choices."
Reports have strongly linked Zlatan with a return to AC Milan, although Napoli have also been credited with showing an interest.
Sources claim that the striker has demanded a monthly wage of £860,000 in order to return to Serie A over the January transfer window.
