Bolton Wanderers have been unable to take their chances as they finished the first half level with Yeovil Town.
Both teams struggled to retain possession in the opening minutes but a Bolton break almost presented an early lead as Chris Eagles played in Robert Hall, who fired his shot across the face of goal.
Eagles was at the centre of another Wanderers break soon after and put the ball past Yeovil goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey but was flagged for offside.
Minutes later Medo Kamara thought that he had scored when his low shot from the edge of the area beat Hennessey, but it came back off the post as the Trotters began to settle.
Midway through the first half, Yeovil were grateful for Shane Duffy's block when Hall found David Ngog but could not get his shot off.
Four minutes before half time, Yeovil could have taken the lead after Paddy Madden's first-time effort forced a save out of Adam Bogdan.
