Wigan Athletic are trailing Bolton Wanderers 1-0 at the Reebok Stadium at the interval courtesy of Lukas Jutkiewicz's 31st-minute goal.
Ali Al-Habsi was called into action early on to deny Jutkiewicz's volleyed effort to keep the score level, with the keeper having to be fully alert to deny the striker.
Shortly after Jutkiewicz did manage to find the back of the net, however, getting a touch on Robert Hall's free kick to give his side the lead.
Martyn Waghorn almost doubled the Trotters' advantage before the break after getting on the end of a deflected effort in the box, but his resulting shot was too weak to beat Adam Bogdan.
