Charlton Athletic are on course to deny Neil Lennon a second successive win as Bolton Wanderers boss by taking the lead before half time in their Championship fixture.
In a quiet opening to the game at The Valley, Bolton created the only opportunity through Lee Chung-Yong but goalkeeper Stephen Henderson was able to make a comfortable save, despite half spilling the shot.
Matt Mills, who netted Bolton's winner at Birmingham City at the weekend, also went close with a header but his effort was off target as the Trotters looked to build on their win at St Andrew's.
Bolton were the better side, but Charlton, who lost their Championship unbeaten record at the weekend, started to have an impact on the match, with George Tucudean making his presence known, and it wasn't long before the Romanian gave the Addicks the lead.
The 23-year-old did well to control a lofted pass into the penalty area before calming directing the ball past Andrew Lonergan for his second of the season.
Bolton pushed for an equaliser just before the break, but Charlton held firm to maintain their lead.
