Bolton Wanderers striker Marvin Sordell has reportedly earned a surprise call-up to the Team GB football squad for this summer's Olympic Games.
The 21-year-old made three appearances for the Trotters last season following a £3m move from Watford in January.
However, he has scored two goals in seven appearances for the England Under-21s, who are managed by Stuart Pearce.
Pearce is now expected to name Sordell along with Chelsea trio Daniel Sturridge, Josh McEachran and Ryan Bertrand in his squad on Monday.
Manchester United's Tom Cleverley, Swansea City's Joe Allen and Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey should also be named in the 18-man party.
