Bolton Wanderers are reportedly ready to step up their pursuit of Crystal Palace manager Dougie Freedman with a lucrative contract offer.
The Trotters are looking for a new boss after Owen Coyle was sacked two weeks ago.
Chairman Phil Gartside could now try to tempt Freedman with a three-year deal in the next 48 hours, according to the Daily Mail.
Freedman, who is revered by Palace fans after spending 10 years as a player at the club, took charge of the side in January 2011.
