Bolton Wanderers boss Dougie Freedman has revealed that he is "very proud" of his team after they picked up their first win of the season against Rotherham United.
The Trotters earned a 3-2 victory at the Reebok Stadium on Tuesday night, ending a winless run of five matches.
"I'm very proud of the players as everyone put their body on the line for the football club to make sure we got that win," Freedman is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "We got it right in terms of showing pride and passion first, and quality at the end to come through.
"It is not a relief to see it - it just justifies my belief in the players. I was never concerned over this difficult period."
Tuesday's win has seen Bolton climb out of the relegation zone in the Championship table.
