Bolton Wanderers defender Zat Knight has said that his team need to forget about playing attractive football and return to their tough winning ways.
The Trotters have lost seven out of eight games at home this season, and Knight says that they need to instil fear into visiting teams again.
"We need to get back to the nitty-gritty and be horrible, hard-to-beat Bolton," Knight said.
"We need to be a team that others fear and when the time comes to play us that they know they have been in a game.
"Teams need to play us and work extremely hard for every point."
Bolton have slumped to the bottom of the Premier League, and Knight says that time is running out if they are to turn the season around.
"It's still tight and there are games coming up, but we have to stop saying we can win them and instead we have to go and get something," he said.
"We have to go out and grind out results, even if it is just starting with a point because that would be a better result than what we have had in our last few games.
"That would give us something to build on and some confidence, but first of all we have to fight. If we are resilient and hard to beat then there is every chance you can win games."
Bolton have suffered four consecutive losses since their 5-0 win over Stoke in November.
