Neil Lennon reportedly has no plans to step aside as Bolton Wanderers manager despite the club's ongoing financial woes.
The Trotters have been forced to bring in Trevor Birch to help ease the cashflow issues, with the Championship side desperate for new investment.
Lennon was said to be hopeful of bringing in a few new players in January, having had to rely on a string of loans and free transfers since taking charge, but those plans have seemingly been thwarted once more.
According to The Sun, the Ulsterman was stunned to learn that Bolton would continue to live off scraps for the time being, but has told close friends that he intends to remain in charge in order to guide the Lancashire outfit to safety.
Wanderers, who are currently in the relegation zone, had been hopeful of receiving a cash boost from Dean Holdsworth's proposed takeover.
