Swindon Town captain Nathan Thompson has reportedly been made a transfer target of Bolton Wanderers manager Neil Lennon.
It has been suggested in recent weeks that 24-year-old Thompson's performances for the League One high-flyers this season had captured the attention of a number of Championship clubs.
Lennon is keen to steal a march on other potential suitors, though, with a bid being lodged in the near future, according to talkSPORT.
The report added that Swindon would try to rebuff any interest in their centre-back, with promotion their main aim this term.
Thompson has made over 100 appearances for the Robins since his debut back in 2010.
