Bolton Wanderers midfielder Chris Eagles has dismissed reports that he will join Cardiff City in the summer.
Recent claims have suggested that the 27-year-old is unhappy at the Reebok Stadium and is looking to move on at the end of the season.
"People like to write these stories but it's just a shame when they see you face to face and they say nothing, but behind your back they like to talk about you," Eagles told the Manchester Evening News.
"That's part and parcel of the job I'm in but people who know me know I'm 100% for the cause. I had a few problems a few months ago with family but right now I'm happy.
"I'm a Bolton player and I love it here. I can't make it any clearer. I don't know why anyone would write that I'm unhappy."
Eagles joined Bolton from Burnley on a three-year contract in summer 2011.
