Bordeaux boss Willy Sagnol has talked up the talent of rising star Thomas Toure, but has insisted that he needs to focus week after week to improve.
The 20-year-old winger has grown in prominence having been handed a chance this season, and has so far contributed four assists and two goals for his team.
"He's surprising us as well," said Sagnol, according to the official Ligue 1 website.
"People always get a bit carried away with youngsters when they turn in one or two good displays. The staff are proud of Thomas' performances in these two games, but Thomas knows what we want from him and how we want him to train during the week.
"He's a very difficult player for defenders to control because he doesn't really think like other players. At times, he might hesitate and get himself in a muddle, but then out of nowhere he's capable of producing an amazing shot without giving it a second's thought."
Toure's contract at the Stade Chaban-Delmas is due to expire next summer, with a number of European clubs thought to be tracking his progress.
