Thomas Toure believes that Bordeaux should have hopes of qualifying for the Champions League this season.

Thomas Toure has claimed that qualifying for the Champions League can be a realistic target for Bordeaux this season.

Bordeaux are currently fourth in Ligue 1, three points behind third-placed Lyon, and Toure is keen to look beyond the current aim of securing a spot in the Europa League.

"Collectively, it is going well for us. The objective is to play in Europe, that is very important for us," the 20-year-old told reporters.

"The Champions League is the next level but we have to try, it would be a dream to play in this competition."

Bordeaux take on Ligue 1 leaders Marseille on Sunday.
