A late goal from forward Henri Saivet has handed Bordeaux a 2-1 home win over Evian TG in Ligue 1.
Modou Sougou went close for Evian early on in the game when he saw his right-footed shot turned away from the bottom corner.
Guillaume Hoarau was wasteful for Bordeaux as the striker headed over from the centre of the box after being picked out by Mariano with a cross.
Landry N'Guemo thought that he had put the hosts 1-0 ahead before half time, but his left-footed shot from outside the box was saved, leaving the teams to go into the interval level.
The hosts took the lead early in the second half, however, as Julien Faubert smashed the ball high into the centre of the goal from inside the box.
Evian found their equaliser with just over 15 minutes to play when Kevin Berigaud tapped home from close range after connecting with Nicolas Benezet's cross to set up a close finish.
It was Bordeaux who took advantage in the closing minutes as Saivet found the net with a good touch to earn the hosts all three points.
