Bordeaux have clinched their first Ligue 1 win of the season by beating 10-man Nantes 2-0 in their clash at the Stade Chaban-Delmas.
The visitors were quickest out of the starting blocks as Johan Audel saw his shot blocked five minutes in, while Kolbeinn Sigthorsson fired just wide of goal moments later.
Bordeaux were given the chance to open the scoring from the spot when Koffi Djidji fouled Nicolas Maurice-Belay in the box, but Wahbi Khazri's shot down the middle was easily saved by Remy Riou.
The Tunisian made amends two minutes into first-half stoppage time, however, as he collected Enzo Crivelli's pass and slotted the ball into the bottom-left corner.
Nantes were left with a mountain to climb early in the second half when Ermir Lenjani was shown a straight red for a bad foul, and Cedric Yambere came within a whisker of doubling Bordeaux's lead minutes later when his header crashed off the bar.
Both sides continued to probe forward in the latter stages of the match, but the hosts made sure of the win two minutes from time thanks to Milan Gajic making the most of Diego Rolan's header flick-on to rifle home.
