Mario Gotze agrees Borussia Dortmund contract extension

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mario Gotze agrees a two-year contract extension with the club until 2016.

Mario Gotze has agreed a two-year contract extension with Borussia Dortmund until 2016.

The 19-year-old has been tracked by a host of European sides this season, but he has decided to extend his stay in the Bundesliga.

"Everyone knows how comfortable I feel in Dortmund. The club are far from finished with their recent resurgence. And I want to be part of this development," Gotze told the club's official website.

Gotze joined the German club at the age of nine and made his first-team debut aged 17.
