Borussia Dortmund have reportedly handed Jadon Sancho a new long-term deal worth £190,000 a week, which represents a significant increase on his current salary at the German club.
The 19-year-old was strongly linked with a move to Manchester United during the summer transfer window after scoring 13 times and registering 19 assists for Dortmund during the 2018-19 campaign.
Sancho's contract with BVB had been due to expire in 2022, but the attacker has now reportedly been handed a new long-term contract in a bid to ward off interest from United.
Initially it had been thought that the fresh deal would see Sancho pocket £80,000 a week. However, according to the Daily Mail, the package is actually worth £190,000 a week.
The teenager, who made his England debut in the latter stages of 2018, turned down a new contract at Manchester City in the summer of 2017 ahead of a switch to Dortmund.
The attacker enjoyed an impressive 2018-19 campaign for his German club while he is also off the mark in terms of goals and assists for the new season - managing four goal contributions in just three appearances.
