Bosnia-Herzegovina and the Republic of Ireland have played out a goalless 45 minutes in their Euro 2016 qualification playoff this evening.
The match began in scrappy fashion as neither side were able to control possession for large periods, but the hosts grew into the game, missing an opportunity to take the lead on 15 minutes when the unmarked Ervin Zukanovic headed wide from a Miralem Pjanic corner.
The hosts went on to dominate proceedings, as Vedad Ibisevic hit the side-netting from an Edin Visca cross, while the latter missed the target from a free kick moments later.
Bosnia's best chance of the match came after the half-hour mark when Zukanovic capitalised on a defensive error from Seamus Coleman to head towards goal, only for his effort to be kept out by Darren Randolph.
