Bournemouth winger Max Gradel will miss the majority of the season after suffering a torn cruciate ligament injury last weekend.
The 27-year-old was making just his fourth appearance for the Cherries in their Premier League clash with Leicester City when he suffered the injury midway throughout the second half.
Bournemouth are yet to confirm the severity of the injury, but the Daily Mail reports that tests have revealed that the Ivorian faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
The Premier League newcomers are said to be interested in Sunderland midfielder Will Buckley as a potential replacement for Gradel.
