Tyrone Mings has said that he is "very happy" to have made his Premier League debut, despite being stretchered off just six minutes after coming off the bench for Bournemouth.
The defender joined the newly-promoted Cherries from Ipswich Town over the summer, but suffered an injury early in the second half in the 1-1 draw with Leicester City, having been introduced at half time.
The 22-year-old wrote on Twitter: "If Carlsberg did debuts, it definitely wouldn't go like this. Thank you for all your kind messages. On the plus side, very happy to have made by Premier League debut."
Manager Eddie Howe confirmed after the match that Mings was receiving treatment at the ground for a suspected knee injury.
