Championship side Bournemouth this morning announced significant increases to their season ticket prices for the 2014-15 campaign.
A 20% hike has been imposed on many of the adult tickets, with the cheapest rising from £400 to £480 and the dearest up to £660 from £550.
The club, which named avoiding Financial Fair Play sanctions as the main reason behind the increases, still believe that the new prices offer Cherries fans value for money.
"We do believe that the new season ticket prices represent really good value for money," Bournemouth chairman Jeff Mostyn told BBC Radio Solent.
"When you consider some of the leading clubs are going to be competing in the Championship alongside us."
Bournemouth achieved their highest-ever league finish by coming 10th in their first season back in the Championship, beating the 25-year record of Harry Redknapp's 1988-89 team.
