Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe says that his team "created enough to win three or four games" during Saturday's goalless draw with Leicester City.

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has said that his team "created enough to win three or four games" during Saturday's goalless draw with Leicester City in the Premier League.

The Cherries had seven shots on target during a dominant display at the Vitality Stadium, but could not make the breakthrough as Leicester escaped with a point.

Howe has claimed that his side should have had a penalty on home soil, and refused to criticise his players following the frustrating draw against the former Premier League champions.

"A very good performance, we created enough to win three or four games in that one. It wasn't our day but we started fast It was difficult for me to see the handball but having seen Marc Pugh's reaction, I banked on his reaction and I know that was right having seen it now," Howe told reporters.

"The referee's view may have been limited and if the linesman didn't have a view either, well then you can't give it if you didn't see it - so I have sympathy in that respect."

Bournemouth, who will return to action away to Tottenham Hotspur after the international break, are currently 19th in the Premier League table on four points.
