Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has hit out at the referee in the wake of his side's defeat to Leeds United in the Championship.
The Cherries saw their winless run extended to five matches on Tuesday night as Leeds came from behind to earn a 3-1 victory at Dean Court.
Despite seeing his team squander a one-goal lead at home, Howe believes that the referee played his part in the result with some questionable decisions.
"We need to be more clinical but what I will say, which is unlike me, is that the referee was really poor for us," he is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.
"We will not change our principles. For me this is the best way to play football and to get consistent results and to move the club forward. We will not revert to long ball football and the principles will always remain while I am in charge."
Tuesday's defeat has moved Bournemouth down to 15th place in the Championship table.
