Jack Wilshere made his Bournemouth debut this afternoon in the team's friendly with AC Milan at the Vitality Stadium.
The 24-year-old was named in Eddie Howe's starting lineup, three days after he joined the club from Arsenal on a season-long loan.
Wilshere faced a struggle to secure a regular spot in Arsene Wenger's first XI at the Emirates this season, so has moved down to the South Coast to get minutes under his belt following a string of injury problems.
The midfielder tasted his first bit of action in a Bournemouth shirt today as the rain poured down during Warren Cummings's testimonial.
Wilshere was left out of Sam Allardyce's England squad for Sunday's 2018 World Cup qualifier against Slovakia.
