Bournemouth's Marc Pugh has insisted that he has no concerns about the club's new arrivals taking his position in the team.
The 28-year-old is the newly-promoted Premier League club's longest-serving player, having made over 200 league appearances since his transfer from Hereford United in 2010.
Manager Eddie Howe has signed Christian Atsu from Chelsea on a season-long loan, as well as Joshua King from Blackburn Rovers, and while the duo will be going up against Pugh for a spot in the team, the versatile player is unfazed.
"We may bring more bodies in but I have to show the confidence and belief that I can do just as good a job as, if not better than, other people," Pugh told the Daily Echo.
The Cherries will open their top-flight campaign with a home clash against Aston Villa on August 8.
