Harry Redknapp has insisted that there is "not a chance" of him becoming the next manager of Bournemouth.
The 65-year-old returned to his former club as an advisor last month after he was sacked as manager of Tottenham Hotspur.
However, he has been linked with vacant position at the League One side following the departure of Paul Groves on Wednesday.
When asked if there was a possibility of him taking over, Redknapp told BBC Sport: "Not a chance, not a prayer. That is definitely not on my agenda. "I was asked if I would get a little bit involved. I haven't really got involved at all, to be honest. The manager Paul Groves and [assistant] Shaun Brooks are good friends of mine. They've both worked for me and played for me at different times. "I hope they make a good appointment now. I hope they make a good decision." The Cherries are currently 20th in the League One table.
