Bournemouth lineup vs. Everton: Predicted XI for the Cherries' first Premier League outing of 2025

Sports Mole looks at how Bournemouth could line up for their Premier League clash at home to Everton on Saturday to start 2025.

Dango Ouattara could be rewarded with a start in Bournemouth's Premier League clash with Everton on Saturday after salvaging a point for Andoni Iraola's side last weekend.

It was Ouattara's deft chip with one minute remaining that saw them hold Fulham to a 2-2 draw, extending their unbeaten league run to seven matches.

Iraola's deep squad allows for rotation with suitable backups in all areas, and Bournemouth were still able to come away with something despite not having in-form Justin Kluivert available last time out.

Kluivert was suspended, joining injured attacking duo Luis Sinisterra and Marcus Tavernier on the sidelines.

Sinisterra was the man who netted the dramatic late winner at Everton earlier this season, but the Colombian is unlikely to be fit in time to feature here, so Ouattara may get the nod on the left.

Bournemouth were well represented in the Premier League's December awards nominees, with Iraola up for Manager of the Month and Dean Huijsen on the Player of the Month shortlist, but their strength in depth is further illustrated by the fact Enes Unal's late leveller against West Ham United is up for Goal of the Month.

Unal is not a regular starter, and is set to start on the bench again, given the recent form of Evanilson, who scored at Craven Cottage last week, and is finding his feet quickly in English football.

Huijsen's breakout has been most welcome too, given that Marcos Senesi and Julian Araujo are both out for a couple of months, and the young Spaniard should partner Illia Zabarnyi at centre-back again.

Right-back is the only spot up for contention at the moment in the absence of Adam Smith, and James Hill put forward his argument to start again, providing an assist on his first Premier League start of the season at Fulham, but Max Aarons is also available and may return.

A slight knock for Tyler Adams saw him miss the trip to the capital, so Philip Billing was also handed a first start of the season, but the American midfielder is expected to return very soon.

With Alex Scott also out due to a meniscus injury, Iraola had to name two goalkeepers and four players under 20 on the bench at Fulham, but one was handed his first senior start, and that was Ben Winterburn, who played a big role in recovering possession for Ouattara's equaliser.

Bournemouth possible starting lineup:
Kepa; Aarons, Zabarnyi, Huijsen, Kerkez; Christie, Cook; Semenyo, Kluivert, Ouattara; Evanilson
