Harry Arter is reportedly travelling to Wales as the Bournemouth midfielder prepares to join Cardiff City on loan.
Arter was linked with both Middlesbrough and Newcastle United on Wednesday, but trained with Bournemouth on Thursday morning, and a deal looked unlikely at that point.
However, according to Sky Sports News, the situation has now changed drastically, with Arter on his way to Cardiff for a medical as he prepares to join the newly-promoted Premier League outfit on loan for the 2018-19 campaign.
Arter joined Bournemouth from Woking in 2010, and has made more than 250 appearances for the Cherries in all competitions.
Last term, the 28-year-old - a 13-time Republic international - scored once in 13 Premier League appearances for Eddie Howe's side.
