Partick Thistle have announced that they have completed the loan signing of Bournemouth defender Baily Cargill.
Cargill spent the first half of the campaign at Fleetwood Town before returning to the Cherries, but the club's early FA Cup exit has left the player in a position where he is unlikely to get first-team opportunities.
That has led to Cargill linking up with the Scottish Premiership side, despite revealing that he does not know much about football north of the border.
The 22-year-old told BBC Scotland: "It's new to me. I've seen it on the TV but I don't know the ins and outs of it all. I'm looking forward to learning about it and making the most of the experience.
"I like to test myself as a person and a player, so a different environment and a different league, testing myself against different players, it'll be a good experience."
Cargill's only Premier League appearance for Bournemouth came in March, when he came off the bench to help the south coast outfit to a 1-1 draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford.
