A report claims that Bournemouth are the favourites to sign former Reading defender Ian Harte this summer.

Bournemouth have reportedly emerged as the favourites to sign former Reading defender Ian Harte this summer.

It had been reported that the 35-year-old would hang up his boots after leaving the Royals at the end of the season, but it now appears that he will continue in the Championship.

According to Sky Sports News, Bournemouth are the favourites for the full-back's signature, but a number of clubs have been credited with an interest.

Harte has also been linked with a move to Leeds United.
