Aston Villa have signed defender Tyrone Mings on loan Bournemouth.
The 25-year-old was a target for a handful of Championship clubs but Villa have beaten their rivals to his signature, with Mings set to spend the rest of the season with Dean Smith’s side.
Mings has made seven appearances in all competitions, five in the Premier League, for Bournemouth this campaign.
He joined the Cherries in the summer of 2015, having started his career with Ipswich.
Villa have also completed a deal for Caen defender Frederic Guilbert.
The 24-year-old former France Under-21 international, who has moved for an undisclosed fee, has been loaned back to the Ligue 1 club for the remainder of the season.
