Bournemouth defender Stephane Zubar has joined Port Vale on a one-month loan deal.
The versatile 27-year-old has struggled for first-team action over the last few years due to a string of injury problems.
The Guadeloupe international is expected to be part of the Vale squad for their trip to Fleetwood Town in League One on Saturday.
"What player would not want to play for Port Vale? It is a big club with a big stadium with a big pitch and it is just perfect," Zubar told the club's official website.
"Now it is up to me to show the manager what I can bring to the side and I am looking forward to it. I have played in League One before and have also played in the Europa League so I feel I can bring experience to the team and it is a great opportunity for me."
Zubar's former clubs include Caen, Plymouth Argyle and Bury.
