Bradford City have announced that they will appeal the Football Association's decision to dump the club out of the FA Cup due to paperwork issues.
The League Two outfit were removed from the domestic competition after they selected Newcastle United loanee Curtis Good to play in a 1-1 draw with Brentford, despite not having the correct written permission to include him in the squad.
The club released a statement earlier today insisting that the problem was of an "administrative technical nature" and was not a deliberate attempt to break the rules of the competition.
If the appeal is unsuccessful Brentford will take Bradford's place in the third round and they will play either Bury or Southend United.
