Bradford City assistant manager Steve Parkin has said that Bermudan striker Nahki Wells will not be leaving the club before the end of the summer transfer window.
The 23-year-old has been linked with a number of clubs after impressing for the Bantams last season, which included promotion from League Two and a run to the League Cup final.
"As far as we are concerned he is not leaving Bradford City," Sky Sports News quotes the 47-year-old as saying.
"Other clubs have had 12 months to have a look at him and we are not going to sell him a week before the transfer window closes.
"Both chairmen let us put a squad together to get promoted last season and hopefully to get promoted this season. You don't sell your best players if you want success. It is a no-go area."
Wells, who scored twice in today's 2-0 win over Sheffield United, notched 22 in League Two last season.
