Thiago Silva has insisted that he is remaining "calm" ahead of Brazil's Confederations Cup encounter with Mexico on Wednesday.
Brazil were beaten 2-1 by their South American rivals in the final of last summer's Olympic Games in London.
Despite talk of the Selecao gaining revenge, Silva is confident that he will not let emotions get in the way.
"It is obvious the Olympics match against Mexico was a very sad moment for us and the entire country, but revenge is not on my mind," the Paris Saint-Germain defender is quoted as saying by Eurosport.
Host nation Brazil got their Confederations Cup campaign off to a winning start on Saturday with a 3-0 victory over Japan.
