Brazil goalkeeper Julio Cesar has described how he cried tears of joy following his team's penalty shootout victory over Chile in the last 16 of the World Cup.
The Queens Park Rangers stopper admitted that he became emotional in the wake of the match, speaking of the contrasting feelings he experienced compared to the 2010 World Cup.
"I gave an interview four years ago and I cried [when Holland eliminated Brazil]," he told Sportv. "I was very sad but now I am crying because I am happy.
"Only God and my family know what I went through and I still do. My teammates gave me a lot of support to do my best. I hope to give more interviews like this, this is my dream."
Brazil will take on Colombia in the quarter-final stage.
