Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has said that his side have to win the World Cup when they host the tournament next year.
Scolari's men are tipped as one of the favourites for next year's event, with the Selecao facing Croatia, Cameroon and Mexico in Group A.
"If we are playing in Brazil there is no other way - we have to win the World Cup," said Scolari at the Footecon convention, according to Goal.com.
"I am not afraid to say that because that is the message I want my players to understand. Brazil are going to win [the World Cup]. I still have doubts about the team, but we have six months to work it out.
"I'm not worried about Fred's injury, for example, because we have lots of time. My main concern is that – in May - we suffer an injury. The final squad is not decided yet, but I will decide that with [assistant Flavio] Murtosa and [technical director Carlos Alberto] Parreira."
Brazil will open the tournament with their first game against Croatia on June 24.
