Brentford midfielder Jonathan Douglas has praised manager Mark Warburton for instilling the team with confidence.
The Bees secured promotion to the Championship this afternoon with a 1-0 victory over Preston North End.
The team's celebrations were put on hold as they were forced to wait until the final whistle of Wolverhampton Wanderers' 6-4 victory over Rotherham United.
"It's always in the back of your mind on whether it's meant to be, but when the new gaffer came in, he just builded us full of confidence, and it showed on the pitch," Douglas told Sky Sports News.
Warburton became manager last year following a two-year role as assistant.
