Brentford manager Uwe Rosler has said that this afternoon's League One playoff final will define the future of the club.
The Bees face Yeovil Town at Wembley for a place in the Championship at 1.30pm this afternoon.
Ahead of the game, German boss Rosler told BBC London 94.9: "The future of Brentford will be defined by going up or not going up.
"We have put a very exciting young squad together. We want to keep them and build on a core of players. Championship football is a big attraction and would make it easier."
Brentford missed out on automatic promotion on the final day of the season when they failed to convert a penalty before Doncaster Rovers went up the other end and scored to guarantee their promotion at the expense of the Bees.
