Brentford signed off on their League One campaign by beating already-relegated Stevenage 2-0 at Griffin Park this afternoon.
Goals from Marcello Trotta and Alan Judge proved enough for the Championship-bound Bees to round off their season with a victory, while Boro will prepare for life in League Two next season.
It took some 75 minutes for the League One runners-up to edge ahead in the contest, as Trotta rounded off a swift counter-attack to fire the hosts ahead.
Mark Warburton's men soon rattled the crossbar through Stuart Dallas, but Irishman Judge was on hand in the dying stages to cap the win for the Londoners.
