Brighton forward Florin Andone has been charged with violent conduct by the Football Association following the FA Cup fourth-round replay with West Brom.
Romania international Andone appeared to elbow Baggies midfielder Sam Field during the first half of Wednesday's match at The Hawthorns.
He escaped punishment from referee Paul Tierney following the 27th-minute incident and went on to score Albion's equaliser as they progressed 3-1 after extra-time.
"Brighton's Florin Andone has been charged with violent conduct. It follows an incident in the 27th minute of Wednesday's game against West Brom in the Emirates FA Cup which was not seen by the match officials but caught on camera," read a statement from the FA's spokesperson.
"Andone has until 18:00 on 08 February 2019 to respond to the charge."
After Andone cancelled out Kyle Bartley's opener, a brace from substitute Glenn Murray secured the Seagulls' win to set up a fifth-round tie at home to Derby.
