Brighton & Hove Albion boss Chris Hughton has admitted that Lewis Dunk is a doubt for Saturday's Premier League clash with Liverpool due to an ankle problem.
Dunk suffered a blow to his ankle in a collision with Romelu Lukaku during Brighton's 3-2 win over Manchester United in the Premier League last weekend.
The 26-year-old was forced off the field in the early stages of the clash with United, and has not taken part in any training sessions for Brighton this week.
Hughton has not officially ruled Dunk out of the Liverpool game at Anfield, but has conceded that the centre-back is a huge doubt.
"Lewis Dunk hasn't trained this week but it's not as bad as we first feared," Hughton told reporters.
Dunk has not missed a single Premier League game for Brighton since their promotion from the Championship.
