Brighton & Hove Albion captain Gordon Greer believes that David Stockdale deserves more recognition following a succession of impressive displays.
The 29-year-old has keep two clean sheets on the bounce this week, away at Cardiff City and Sheffield Wednesday, to help the struggling Seagulls steady the ship somewhat.
Stokedale had to produce a couple of important stops to deny Sergiu Bus and Michael Keane in the first half at Hillsborough on Saturday to guide his side to a goalless draw.
"It shows the level of the man that he has come out today and pulled of two great saves," Greer told the club's official website. "He is a great guy to have around the place and he is a big character.
"We have all taken criticism this year because we are not winning enough games so everybody takes their fair share of responsibility and Stocko has done that as well. Hopefully he will get a great write up in the press because he has been fantastic in the last couple of games."
Brighton now find themselves hovering one point above the Championship relegation zone, with Birmingham City next up.
