Sheffield Wednesday and Brighton & Hove Albion struggled to a 0-0 draw at Hillsborough this afternoon.
After a sluggish opening 20 minutes, Wednesday started to apply some pressure after Will Keane went close with a header from a corner.
Brighton keeper David Stockdale then made a flying save to prevent Sergio Bus from scoring for the hosts, after Liam Palmer's cross was headed firmly towards the top corner by the striker.
Brighton responded by almost scoring themselves, as Rohan Ince smashed a volley marginally over the bar after a corner was cleared to the edge of the box.
Sheffield came close to breaking the deadlock shortly after the break, as Jacques Maghoma's low cross was flicked inches wide by midfielder Kieran Lee, before Kamil Zayatte missed a glorious chance as he failed to connect with a Maghoma cross.
Lee twice went close later on in the half, but he was denied by both Inigo Calderon and Stockdale.
Brighton then almost snatched a late goal, but Bruno's effort Joao Carlos Teixeira's cut-back flew over the bar.
Neither side could force a late winner, and Sheffield Wednesday's winless run has stretched to six games.
