Leonardo Ulloa's second-half strike has given Brighton & Hove Albion victory in their Championship game against 10-man Doncaster Rovers.
Ulloa came close for the home side early on but he could not connect with Stephen Ward's cross properly and the chance went begging.
Doncaster were convinced that they should have had a penalty before half time when Billy Sharp appeared to play the ball off the arm of a Brighton defender, but the referee thought otherwise and waved play on.
Both sides initially struggled to create chances after the restart, with Kazenga Lualua curling just wide for Brighton.
Ulloa eventually put Brighton in front, however, when he glanced a header in past Doncaster keeper Sam Johnstone.
Sharp was then dismissed five minutes from time for Doncaster after lashing out at Brighton skipper Gordon Greer.
